For your peace of mind, don't try to understand everything.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected ?
Those who know do not speak.  Those who speak do not know.
There are things known and there are things unknown,
and in between are the doors of perception.
The general population doesn't know what's happening,
and it doesn't even know that it doesn't know.
What we see changes what we know;

When  you  don't  know  how  you  know.
But  you  know  you  know.
And  you  know  you  knew,
and  that's  all  you  needed  to  know.
We  know  they  are  lying;
they  know  they  are  lying.
They  know  we  know  they  are  lying;
we  know  they  know.
                
Never  trouble  trouble  until  it  troubles  you.
Trouble can't trouble you if you don't trouble it.
When  in  trouble,  to  be  troubled
is  to  have  your  trouble  doubled.

Real  eyes  realize  real  lies.

A fool thinks himself to be wise,
but a wise man knows himself to be a fool. Standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous; you get knocked down by traffic from both sides. 
What we know is a drop, what we don't know is an ocean.
The art of knowing is knowing what to ignore.
We can only know that we know nothing.
That is the highest degree of human wisdom.

We are all broken, that's how the light gets in.  Commit a single mistake and every day will judge you.  Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment.  Because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.  It's not a mistake to make a mistake.  But it's a mistake to repeat the same mistake, which is a decision.  Don't trust everything you see.  Even salt looks like sugar.  Even a white rose has a black shadow.  Never believe in a one-sided story.  It always has some missing pages.  All stories have three sides: your side, their side, and the side of the truth.  Right is right, even if everyone is against it; wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.  You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.  Truth does not mind being questioned, a lie does not like being challenged.  Truth can walk naked, but a lie always needs to be dressed.  Never argue with liars.  A rising tide floats all boats; when the tide goes out, you discover who's been swimming naked.  You can't win, because they believe their own lies.  You can only win when your mind is stronger than your feelings.

Nowadays, people don't defend what is right; they defend who they like and benefit from.  Under the politics of authoritarian rule, the frog in the well knows nothing of the sea.  When stupidity is considered patriotism, it is unsafe to be intelligent.  The strong do what they have to do and the weak accept what they have to accept.  Laws are spider webs through which the big flies pass and the little ones get caught.  Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.  Do not put each foot in a different boat.  Standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous; you get knocked down by traffic from both sides.  The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are humans.  People who bite the hand that feeds them usually lick the boot that kicks them.  The truth is like a boat, and people are like water.  Water can carry the boat and also overturn the boat.  We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.  You don’t have to control your thoughts.  You just have to stop letting them control you.  If you don't separate yourself from distractions, your distractions will separate you from your goals.

Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.  If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.  A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.  A harmful truth is better than a useful lie.  A liar will get mad at you for knowing the truth.  No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.  Sometimes peace requires you to be quiet, even when you're right.  Sometimes things aren't clear right away.  That's where you need to be patient, persevere, and see where things lead.  Anyone who holds a true opinion without understanding is like a blind man on the right road.  And you are the one who'll decide where to go.  Don't be afraid of enemies who attack you.  Be afraid of friends who flatter you.  Nothing in this world is harder than speaking the truth, and nothing is easier than flattery.  It was not the truth they wanted, but an illusion they could bear to live with.  Once the rain is over, an umbrella becomes a burden to everyone.  That's how loyalty ends when benefits stop.  When solving problems, dig at the roots instead of just hacking at the leaves.

Truth of life do a million good things and nobody will care.  People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls.  The mind is its own place and, in itself, can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.  Use your common sense over nonsense.  You must not lose faith in humanity.  Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.  The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.  The problem is that people are being hated when they are real and are being loved when they are fake.  Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.  An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

A sword never kills anybody; it is a tool in the killer's hand.  Guns don't kill people; people do.  War does not determine who is right; it only determines who is left.  There is no winner in the war; there is no loser in peace.  Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the presence of justice.  Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding.  When intentions are pure, the path becomes clear.  There is no path to peace; peace is the path.  Paths should be laid where people walk, instead of walking where paths are laid.  There is no way to peace; peace is the way.  Peace is not something you wish for; it's something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.

We are not born for one corner; the whole world is our native land.  The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.  The most dangerous liars are those who think they are telling the truth.  The dark does not destroy the light; it defines it.  Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.

A wise man can play the part of a clown, but a clown can't play the part of a wise man.
